DEMOUNTABLE FLOOR CASE
Disassembling our demountable cases allows them to be moved and stored with ease. Each case consists of a base and top frame. Vertical corners are fixed with special aluminum channels that allow cases to be put together and taken down easily by one or two people with no special skills. The front panel may be easily removed for access without disassembling the entire case. As with all of our cases, our demountable cases are made with conservation grade materials. Each one is built to order so an almost unlimited range of sizes is available. An optional crate is available to store your case when not in use.

Ultraviolet (UV) Filtering
Ultraviolet light can be extremely detrimental to sensitive artifacts. Special ultraviolet filtering acrylic is available. Laminated glass, consisting of two sheets of glass bonded to a center clear plastic sheet, has the option of incorporating a UV filtering center layer.
Pedestal Base
A custom height pedestal base may be added to this case if desired.
Decks
All decks are fabricated from a variety of non off-gassing materials. Conservation materials such as aluminum plate, acrylic, Dibond aluminum/polyethylene composite and Ethafoam are options. Acrylics and aluminum can be painted using zero VOC water based paints, laminated, or wrapped with fabric. Ethafoam, which is a high-density foam, can be bonded to an aluminum plate or Dibond sheet and fabric wrapped to provide flexibility in mounting artifacts. A variety of deck options are available including flat, raised, and sloped.
Opaque Panels
Any of the panels may be replaced by opaque panels. We can add graphics to these panels if desired.
Risers
Risers give the curator or designer a way to highlight specific objects by elevating them above the deck. Risers may be constructed of a variety of archival materials to ensure they meet conservation requirements. They are available with a zero VOC paint finish or wrapped with museum grade linen fabric.
Shelving
Shelves, in a variety of materials, may be fixed or adjustable, depending on the type of case and your needs. Adjustable shelves may me supported by shelf brackets where the shelf standards are hidden in the back panel of the case providing a clean look. Rod or cable systems give lots of flexibility in positioning shelves.
Lighting
We use LED lighting that is dimmable, emits no UV rays, generates minimal heat, is energy efficient and long lasting. Downlights and light attics with diffusers are the typical applications, but we can also provide other light sources suited to your needs. All of our lighting comes with dimmers that allow for precise control. Timers, proximity sensors and power cutoffs are also available.
